Why should I use Hydrosol System to chemically clean my furnace?
Reheat furnace piping and components begin to accumulate calcium, iron and various other elements over time. The deposits restrict water flow and reduce the cooling capabilities of the furnace. Mix and moving post often fail, this leads to loss of production and revenue.
Above is an example of actual data collected from cleaning of a reheat furnace. As Hydrosol adds chemical the percentage increases, and as the contaminants from the pipe mix with the solution, it reduces the percentage. The pipe is clean when the % stabilizes for an extended period of time.
How do I clean my furnace?
Hydrosol System will perform a pre-engineering visit. Our expert engineers will customize a procedure that identifies the optimal chemicals, times, temperatures, temporary pipe connections and utilities. A Hydrosol System crew will mobilize to the customer site during a maintenance outage. High velocity pumps and filtration are used to circulate chemicals through the furnace piping and components. This process can typically be performed in a 24 hour period.
What should I expect?
The furnace cooling and flow will show drastic improvement. In most cases it will return to manufacturers recommended velocities.
Preventative Maintenance
Hydrosol System recommends an annual cleaning of the furnace cooling. Customers who perform annual service have increased production and have the flexibility to focus on other critical tasks during tight outage schedules.
