Why should I clean my new piping system?
A majority of industrial manufacturing processes require sophisticated piping systems. These systems require cleaning processes usually specified in various ASTM guidelines. Passivation to ASTM A-380 criteria meets the standards of most regulatory acgencies and equipment manufacturers. The passivation process protects the piping from corrosion which prolongs the life of the piping. Failure to include cleaning in bid packages can be costly to contractors and void equipment warranties to the end user.
